In early 2008 we will be able to provide a fully certified boiler for fitting into the Cliff & Bunting Engine.
We would appreciate an indication of interest in purchasing same.
Please reply to me here or "miniaturesteam1@bigpond.com"

PostSubject: Price for "Off the Shelf" boilers...   Sun Nov 25, 2007 8:12 am

As the previous poster stated, an indication of price is probably required to generate "real" interest here...
I know two of us that are looking at sourcing / building a boiler in early '08... Price is the key determining issue over whether to buy or build our own...

Hi ROB G, rbrett & sewad
Thanks for the postings - I apologise for the delay in responding.
I'll come back to you on projected price and availibility very shortly.
The boiler/burner combination that will be offered is currently undergoing proving tests and I hope to be able to post a picture of it on its testbed shortly.
As we are very concerned about safety issues, the boiler will only be offered in its complete form - no kits or drawings.

More shortly.
Stuart

Hi all,
The small interest shown so far has caused our development priorities to shift a little. 3 Qtr 2008 is the new planned date for release.
We expect the selling price to be in the region of AU$4500.
The boiler is made of steel for strength - necessary because it is an integral part of the chassis.
Contact me direct if you wish - stuart@miniaturesteammodels.com
I will try to keep this list updated as the project moves on.
